Lee Simmons Signature Realty was founded as a spin off from Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company on February 1, 2021. Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company was a well known, well liked and well trusted real estate firm that was in business for 38 plus years. The motto at Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company was 'Diligence and Integrity In Every Sale.' Merriam-Webster defines Diligence as: steady, earnest, and energetic effort. Integrity is defined as: firm adherence to a code of especially moral values. The earnest effort and moral values that were central to the operation of Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate are also central to the operation of Lee Simmons Signature Realty.
To supplement the income of his growing family, Ronald V. Dunn obtained his real estate license in 1979. After finding success as a real estate agent for 4 years, Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company was founded in the home of Ronald and Debra Dunn in September of 1983 in Crewe, Virginia. Ronald was the Broker/Agent, and Debra was the Secretary/Bookkeeper/Receptionist/Office Manager. Debra obtained her real estate license in 1984. In 2014, Lee Simmons was brought on board to work as an Agent for the company. Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company was in operation for over 38 years.
With the support of its clients and the community, Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company was fortunate enough to have participated in the sale of nearly 1000 properties totaling over $60 million in real estate in Southside Virginia. Trustworthy, responsive and personal service was the hallmark of the company.

Lee Simmons has an uncommon familiarity with Southside Virginia having been born and raised in Crewe and living in Nottoway County his whole life. Lee is a graduate of Nottoway High School, class of 1996 and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Virginia Tech, class of 2001. Lee currently lives in Burkeville, VA. He is married to Shelley Simmons and has three sons, Eli, Tucker and Stone. Lee is also Vice President of his family's long-standing business, Simmons Monument Company in Crewe. Prior to becoming a Real Estate Agent, Lee served as Vice President of the Crewe-Burkeville Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of the Nottoway County Economic Development Committee. He also served two terms on the Crewe Town Council and was elected Mayor of Crewe from 2010-2014.
In 2014, Lee joined Ronald and Debra as a Real Estate Agent for Ronald V. Dunn Real Estate Company. The addition of Lee's experience and reputation in business and community service to Ronald and Debra's vast knowledge of all things real estate and their own reputation for diligence and integrity created a successful and dynamic real estate team. Every year Lee has been an agent, he has continuously improved upon his numbers in sales volume, value of properties sold and commissions generated. He shattered long standing company records in all three categories in 2019 and then surpassed his own record breaking numbers in 2020.
